Regarding social media conversations between him and Kim Sae-ron , which were leaked by the family of the late actress, Kim Soo-hyun claimed that these messages were fabricated. His agency has also filed a lawsuit, which the court has accepted, seeking 12 billion Korean won, just over 8 million U.S. dollars, in damages against the bereaved family and the operator of the YouTube channel that disclosed their claims.
