Russian Army Repels Several Attacks In Donetsk (Videos)
On July 12, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Kiev forces had made several attempts to advance in the directions of South Donetsk, Krasny Liman and Donetsk without any success.
In a statement, the ministry said that the Russian Yug Group of Forces had repelled 30 attacks close to Zolotaryovka, Spornoye, Kleshcheevka, Andreevka, Sol, Severnoye, Veseloye, Vodyanoye, Pervomaiskoye, Krasnogorovka and Petrovskoye. The group also targeted Ukrainian gatherings of manpower and equipment to the west of Andreevka and Kleshcheevka.
According to the ministry, Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to 335 troops, a tank, two armored fighting vehicles, four motor vehicles, a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer, and a British-made FH-70 towed howitzer.
Meanwhile in the South Donetsk direction, the Russian Vostok Group of Forces repelled a Ukrainian attack near Staromayorskoye, and also foiled combat reconnaissance actions near Ugledar. In addition, gatherings of manpower and equipment near Storozhevoye, Makarovka and Priyutnoye were targeted.

In the Krasny Liman direction, the Russian Tsentr Group of Forces repelled two attacks by Ukraine’s 63rd and 66th Mechanized Brigades, each with the strength of up to a motorized infantry platoon, close to Torskoye and Karmazinovka. Ukrainian losses in this direction were over 60 troops, two infantry fighting vehicles and one Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer, according to the ministry.

In the Zaporozhye direction, as a result of the selfless actions by Russian troops, 2 enemy attacks have been repelled near Rabotino (Zaporozhye region).

The enemy losses were over 240 Ukrainian servicemen, 9 infantry fighting vehicles, 2 armored personnel carriers, 6 armored fighting vehicles, 2 motor vehicles, 1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system, as well as Msta-B and D-30 howitzers .
In addition, 1 ammunition depot of the AFU 33th Mechanised Brigade has been destroyed near Malaya Tokmachka (Zaporozhye region).
In the Kupyansk direction, the units of the Zapad Group of Forces, Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, and artillery have successfully repelled 3 enemy attacks near Novosyolovskoye (Lugansk People’s Republic).
AFU manpower and hardware have been hit close to Molchanovo, Novomlynsk, Ivanovka (Kharkov region) and Artyomovka (Lugansk People’s Republic).
The enemy were up to 40 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 tanks, 1 infantry fighting vehicle, and 2 motor vehicles.
In Kherson direction, assault groups of Russian troops continued reconnaissance and search operations on the islands close to Antonovsky Bridge.
The enemy losses were up to 40 Ukrainian servicemen, 2 motor vehicles, and 2 U.S.-manufactured M777 artillery systems.
Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralized 74 AFU artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware in 107 areas.
1 ammunition depot of the 1st Special Forces Brigade of the AFU has been destroyed near Volchansk (Kharkov region).

15 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle have been destroyed close to Grozovoye, Priyutnoye, Dorozhnyanka, Vladimirovka, Konstantinovka (Zaporozhye region), Blagoveshchenka (Donetsk People’s Republic), Chervonaya Dibrova, Verkhnekamenka, Chervonopopovka (Lugansk People’s Republic), Tavolzhanka (Kharkov region) and Zburyevka (Kherson region).
In total, 455 airplanes, 242 helicopters, 4,981 unmanned aerial vehicles, 426 air defense missile systems, 10,668 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,137 fighting vehicles equipped with MLRS, 5,421 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 11,626 special military motor vehicles have been destroyed during the special military operation.
The Russian MoD also released a video documenting recent operations by Giatsint-B towed howitzers. Another video shared by Russian news sources showed the destruction of an American-made M109 self-propelled howitzer of Kiev forces with a Lancet loitering munition.
Kiev forces sustained heavy human and material losses in the last few days while attempting to make new gains before the NATO summit in Vilnius. On top of this failure, the forces lost some territory in the Donetsk direction, where the Russian military conducted a successful counter attack.
